Create Your First Inspection

Ready to start? Create your first inspection in just a few steps.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Choose a Template

  • Go to Inspections page
  • Click New Inspection
  • Select a template from the list
  • Templates are organized by type (ASSET, AUDIT, INCIDENT)

Step 2: Select Asset or Site (Optional)

  • If using an ASSET template, select an asset
  • Or select a site for the inspection
  • Or leave blank for general inspection

Step 3: Start Inspection

  • Click Start Inspection
  • Inspection is created
  • Inspection form opens

Step 4: Answer Questions

  • Navigate through sections
  • Answer each question
  • Attach photos or files as needed
  • Flag issues if required

Step 5: Complete Inspection

  • Review all answers
  • Ensure required questions are answered
  • Click Complete Inspection
  • Inspection is saved and marked as completed

Example:

1. Go to "Inspections" → "New Inspection"
2. Select template: "Pump Inspection"
3. Select asset: "Pump-001"
4. Answer questions:
   - Condition: "Good"
   - Any leaks: "No"
   - Photo: (upload photo)
5. Complete inspection
6. View completed inspection

  • Use QR Codes: Print QR codes for assets to start inspections quickly
  • Take Photos: Photos provide visual documentation of conditions
  • Flag Issues: Flag any issues found during inspection for follow-up
  • Complete All Sections: Ensure all required questions are answered before completing
